Job Description:
Manager- Digital Marketing will independently formulate and direct the overall digital marketing and communication strategy for the entire roster of artists, events and the company. She/he will work directly with the Business Head to create online marketing plans and craft strategies that are unique to each artist's talent and target audience. She/he will be granted a great deal of autonomy and be expected to deliver results and guide others with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibility Areas
- Oversee online content strategy and management of our company, roster of artists, live properties & Events.
- Constantly re-evaluate and optimise best practices for artists and company in the fast changing world of social media and digital marketing.
- Self-execute across a gamut of marketing activities (SEO/ SEM/ PPC/ Google Adwords/ Display/ Remarketing / Social Media marketing/ Viral marketing/ ATL/ BTL/ Activation/ Brand marketing etc. / Content marketing / Email marketing / SMS marketing / WhatsApp marketing)
- Liaise with team & various partners to create and execute creative marketing campaigns surrounding our artists- music releases, concerts,tours, appeareances and other endeavors.
- Monitor new and emerging online platforms; educate managers and artists on platforms that will be beneficial to use.
- Create and execute online advertising plans as needed; oversee plans executed by clients/partners/associates.
- Develop and oversee the creation of monthly reports for artist managers; educate them on strengths, weaknesses, and trends across artists- online properties.
- Devise, test and evaluate multiple user growth strategies to constantly add to social media assets
Experience, Knowledge and skills:
- 1-3 years of digital marketing experience, preferably in the music, entertainment, or tech industry.
- Entrepreneurial attitude, ability to see a project through from start to finish with little to no supervision.
- Working knowledge of Facebook Ads, Twitter Ads, Google AdWords and YouTube Campaigns
- Excellent copywriting and editing skills.
- Deep knowledge of all social platforms and an active interest in emerging trends in this space.
- Working familiarity with web development, domain registration, and hosting.
- Basic front-end web design knowledge (HTML, CSS) and digital asset editing (CS6).
- Willingness to attend artist performances in the evenings and on the weekends.
- Love and passion for music and technology
