Product Sales Manager - Industrial Product (5-11 yrs)
Product Manager - Power Transmissions (Pan India)
We are looking for suitable candidate for the mentioned position - Product Sales Manager within Industrial Business Unit. This is a Level 4B position which is based in Pune and reports to Sales Head -Product Sales
Main purpose of the role
- Drive the profitable growth of product sales, which Power Transmission product lines in IB.
1.0 Key responsibilities
- Be a single point of contact for resolution of technical and commercial queries for PT Product Sales portfolio in respective segment.
- Achieve agreed Sales growth, Gross Margin and Market development targets as per defined - Annual Business & Sales Plans-
- Work with Industrial Distribution teams (TM's and AID- s) for lead generation till order conclusion.
- Co-ordinate effectively with Segments for Sales to Key accounts and OEM's.
- REP teams for product promotion and inclusion and recommendation of non-bearing products in REP offerings.
- Support new / customized solution developments in co-ordination with SKF factories,Product Engineering and customer.
- Monitor competitor activities, assess impact and provide inputs for effective response.
- Effectively resolve technical and performance complaints.
- Participate in market development initiatives such as Seminars, Tech Days and Exhibitions for increasing awareness of Product Sales portfolio
- To Promote new product offerings or special promotions to achieve sale growth.
- Technical product training - both internal and external
- Live SKF values and code of conduct inside of SKF and in the marketplace
2.0 Candidate Background and competencies
3.1 Education & Experience
- Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Master's degree in sales and marketing management is an added advantage.
- 6 - 10 years of experience in industrial product sales, preferably in sales of Industrial Power Transmission products like V-Bets, Chains, Pulleys, Couplings etc. with significant exposure to Key Account Management both large OEM, end-user & Distribution channel.
