Product Manager - Marketing/Market Research (5-12 yrs)
Key Area of responsibilities:
1. Sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, or services, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends
2. Evaluate the financial aspects of product development, such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, and return-on-investment and profit-loss projections.
3. Market Research and data analysis, gathering market information about the target market or customer, based on that formulating the reports includes current market trends, segments, SWOT analysis and competitor analysis.
4. Identify, develop, and evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors.
5. Design, implement & facilitate an effective local & national product strategies.
6. Developing relations with distribution networks and strategies with top 100 KCPs.
7. Planning & Pricing - Market research based on various aspects, Gap analysis, positioning, finalizing pricing by taking into account comparative analysis with market product. Scanning market to identify impactful support tools for the product, discussion with sales team, finalizing and execution.
8 Carrying out effective market research & intelligence into competitor products & other trends.
9 Develop alliance for B2B
10 Market information/ intelligence: Research on products available in the market, their market shares, functioning, pricing. Market research related to competitor companies, strategies they are using for product promotion etc.
