Job Description: Product Manager - Tile & Bathware Industry (USA & Russia)

1. Product Strategy Development:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy tailored to the USA and Russian markets, aligning with business objectives.

- Conduct in-depth market research to understand regional trends, customer preferences, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscapes.

- Identify white space opportunities in the current product portfolio and collaborate with R&D and production teams to fill these gaps.

- Analyze market share metrics (value/volume) and benchmark performance against key competitors.

- Work closely with the brand marketing function to define localized product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.

2. Portfolio Management and Optimization:

- Oversee the product portfolio to ensure alignment with regional market demands, customer preferences, and industry standards.

- Evaluate product performance, profitability, and competitive positioning to inform product enhancement, discontinuation, or new launches.

- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and R&D teams to optimize product offerings and drive revenue growth.

3. Pricing and Channel Strategy:

- Develop region-specific pricing strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining market competitiveness.

- Analyze and optimize distribution channels, including retail, wholesale, and e-commerce platforms, ensuring an effective supply chain.

- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align pricing strategies, promotions, and distribution channels for maximum market penetration.

4. Budget Planning and Financial Analysis:

- Develop and manage annual product budgets, ensuring alignment with business plans and financial targets.

- Track key performance indicators, including gross margins, sales volumes, and inventory turnover, to identify areas for improvement.

- Conduct financial analysis, including forecasting, cost analysis, and ROI assessments, to support data-driven decision-making.

5. Stakeholder Collaboration and Leadership:

- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, operations, supply chain, and R&D, to ensure effective product execution.

- Provide leadership and mentorship to cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

- Represent the product team in executive meetings and strategic discussions, advocating for market-driven product initiatives.

6. Market Intelligence and Competitive Analysis:

- Maintain a strong understanding of the tile and bathware markets in the USA and Russia, including industry trends and emerging technologies.

- Conduct competitive analysis to benchmark products against key market players and identify opportunities for differentiation.

- Gather and analyze market intelligence to refine product roadmaps, pricing strategies, and expansion plans.

7. New Product Development and Innovation:

- Collaborate with R&D teams to drive innovation, including new product development, material enhancements, and design improvements.

- Oversee the product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with market demands and company objectives.

- Work with manufacturing and quality assurance teams to ensure product feasibility and compliance with regional industry standards.

8. Quality and Customer Experience:

- Partner with quality control and service teams to monitor product quality and identify areas for continuous improvement.

- Gather customer feedback and satisfaction metrics to enhance product performance and address pain points.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards, environmental regulations, and durability expectations in both the USA and Russian markets.

9. Supply Chain and Inventory Management:

- Work closely with supply chain and operations teams to optimize inventory levels, production planning, and logistics efficiency.

- Collaborate on demand forecasting to align product availability with sales projections and market demand.

- Identify opportunities for supply chain optimization, cost savings, and sustainable sourcing.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA) is a plus.

- Proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably in the tile, bathware, building materials, or construction industry.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across regions.

- Knowledge of product lifecycle management and familiarity with industry regulations and certifications in both the USA and Russia.

- Experience in pricing strategies, market analysis, and channel management.

- Strong leadership and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.

- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Proficiency in data analysis tools, market research techniques, etc

Preferred Experience:

- Experience working in global markets, particularly the USA and Russia.

- Familiarity with regional distribution networks, regulatory requirements, and consumer behavior.
