Hiring support for MNC leading Chemical distribution Co

Position; Product Manager

Qualification : Msc Chemistry / MBA Marketing

Experience : Minimum 3 years experience in chemicals sourcing, sales or related area

Job Description:

1. Develop and maintain multi-level relationships with suppliers of assigned products.

This includes on-going interactive communication in the form of phone calls, supplier site visits, trade shows and other meetings as needed to achieve and maintain the desired relationship.

2. Collaborate with internal customers to develop profitable supply programs that support current and long-term business growth.

3. Identify, assess and recommend new products and suppliers to support and enhance MNC competitive position.

4. Effectively coordinate commercial activities related to assigned products and suppliers. This includes, but is not limited to, leading/supporting negotiation of product price, credit terms, logistics and other relevant conditions of purchase.

5. Develop, document and effectively communicate detailed market intelligence related to local, regional and global availability, cost price and demand for assigned products.

6. Develop and maintain marketing tools such as Supplier and Product Bulletins to help promote products and suppliers to multiple MNC regions and operating companies.

7. Own and develop opportunity (project) pipeline to profitably grow new and assigned products.

8. Collaborate with GSO PMs in other countries to insure continuity of GSO supply and enhance GSO competitive position. This activity includes but is not limited to developing additional sources of supply within multiple GSO countries.

9. Support MNC global initiatives, values and business standards.

10. Support Supplier Approval Audits by providing required supplier documentation to insure full compliance with required Brenntag standards. Any discrepancies to be reported and documented to GSO management in a timely manner.

11. Record, document and resolve supplier non- conformances and discrepancies in accordance with established procedures.

12. Special projects and other additional responsibilities and duties as assigned by management

- Fluent in English (verbal and written)

- Able to work effectively in the absence of daily direct supervision

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills able to work effectively in a multi-culture team environment

- Strong customer orientation

- Well organized with attention to detail

- Goal and results oriented

- Highly motivated, committed, effective and supportive team member, able to work flexibly, quickly and accurately to tight deadlines

- Able to travel

- Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
