ABOUT THE PROGRAM

- PARIKSHE is envisioned as a one-stop online solution for any student preparing for the Karnataka State Board SSLC Exam (KSEEB/KSEAB). The SSLC @ PARIKSHE Program is being run through a dedicated YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/@SSLCPARIKSHE) with content in both live and asynchronous forms. It aims to provide high quality academic learning founded on excellent teaching and pedagogy to students all across Karnataka, irrespective of their backgrounds.

- PARIKSHE is now launching a new YouTube channel for PUC Karnataka and this role will dedicatedly be aligned to the PUC channel.

- At PARIKSHE high-quality bilingual (Kannada-plus-English) teaching content videos are released on

- YouTube covering the Karnataka syllabus systematically throughout the academic year. Additionally, there are special live classes for a community of interested students to help them prepare for their school and board exams in a comprehensive manner. Learning material complementing the videos and classes, such as notes and question banks, are also provided to the students as required.

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

- Proficiency in Kannada and English, both written and spoken is mandatory

- Basic technical know-how is required. This includes emails, calendar, GSuite and office tools (especially sheets), etc.

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders

- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

- Knowledge and experience of working with Canva, Illustrator or any other design tool is preferred

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. YouTube Channel Management:

- Uploading content on the YouTube channel(s)

- Ensuring metadata optimization (this includes video titles, descriptions, tags and thumbnails)

- Setting up livestreams on the channel

- Organizing the channel including playlists, home page, etc.

- Scheduling and managing the Release Calendar

- Ideating on strategies of improving the metadata based on market research

2. Social Media and YouTube Community Engagement:

- Managing uploads and posts on Instagram, Telegram, Facebook, etc.

- Ensuring continued engagement on different social media platforms by replying to comments and messages , organizing polls, etc.

- Coordinating with the academic team on doubts asked by students

- Monitoring analytics related to engagement on different platforms and deriving insights

- Ideating on strategies of improving engagement on the social media platforms

3. Product and Market Research:

- Developing a deep understanding of the product and the market we operate in

- Regularly monitoring competitors and analyzing market trends

- Monitoring the analytics of the YouTube Channel(s) and deriving insights

- Coordinating and getting feedback from the users on the product through polls, direct interactions, etc.

- Communicating insights for product development through presentations and one-on-one discussions

4. Content Creation and Coordination:

- Creating slides for community and instagram posts

- Coordinating with the design and production teams on deliverables

- Coordinating with the presenters to schedule ad shoots, etc.

- Quality assurance of content - including posts and ads

- Supporting content scripting and ideation

- Identifying testimonials, messages and comments and maintaining its repository for use in promotional content

5. Other Program Responsibilities:

- Supporting other product areas such as app development and website maintenance

- Maintaining minutes of discussions and action items

- Managing recruitment requirements, sorting resumes, documentation etc.

ELIGIBILITY

Educational Qualifications: Graduate (in any discipline)

Work Experience: 1-3 years of work experience in a related field is preferred but not mandatory, freshers are eligible to apply
