Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Content Manager to oversee the production, optimization, and quality of SEO-driven content. This role involves managing the entire content lifecycle-from planning and creation to publishing and performance tracking. The ideal candidate will be skilled in both content strategy and quality assurance, ensuring that the output aligns with SEO best practices and delivers measurable outcomes.

As the Content Manager, you will be responsible for managing a content agency, ensuring content quality, optimizing content for search engines, and driving organic traffic through strategic content initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Content Strategy and Planning :

- Develop, manage, and execute a robust content production plan aligned with SEO goals and business objectives.

- Collaborate with the SEO team to identify high-performing keywords and topics based on search trends, competitive analysis, and business needs.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, design) to align content initiatives with overall digital strategy.

2. Content Production Management :

- Manage the end-to-end content creation process: briefing writers, setting deadlines, reviewing drafts, and ensuring timely delivery of content.

- Create detailed content briefs with specific instructions for keyword optimization, internal/external linking, and on-page SEO elements (e.g., meta descriptions, headings).

- Coordinate with freelance writers/in-house writers, and external agencies to produce high-quality content across blogs, landing pages, product pages, etc.

3. SEO Optimization & Strategy :

- Optimize all content for search engines, ensuring the right use of keywords, meta tags, titles, and structured data.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and adjust the content strategy accordingly.

- Ensure that all content follows SEO guidelines, including best practices for headings, readability, formatting, and internal linking.

4. Quality Assurance & Control :

- Conduct rigorous quality checks to ensure the accuracy, clarity, and consistency of all content.

- Ensure that all content adheres to the company's tone, style, and brand voice.

- Monitor content for plagiarism or duplicate content issues, ensuring originality and authenticity.

- Ensure content is free from grammatical errors, broken links, and factual inaccuracies before publication.

5. Performance Monitoring & Reporting :

- Track the performance of content across various metrics such as organic traffic, keyword ranking, conversion rates, and engagement.

- Use tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs to analyze content performance.

- Provide detailed reports and insights to the SEO and marketing teams on how content is performing and suggest areas for improvement.

6. Cross-functional Collaboration :

- Work with the design team to ensure that visuals and graphics align with content objectives.

- Collaborate with social media and paid marketing teams to amplify content and drive traffic.

- Coordinate with development and UX teams to optimize content layouts for better user experience.

Key Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor Degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.

- 5+ years of experience in SEO content management, production, and optimization.

- Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and on-page optimization.

- Hands-on experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, etc.).

- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.

- Exceptional editing and proofreading skills with a focus on clarity, tone, and style.

- Strong project management skills and experience managing multiple content production workflows simultaneously.

- Ability to create data-driven content strategies and adapt to changing SEO trends.

- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working in e-commerce or healthcare industries.

- Previous experience managing content writers or freelancers.

- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for content formatting.

- Familiarity with local SEO practices and strategies.
