Priority Consultants - Public Relations Role (3-5 yrs)
Priority Consultants is successful, respected, and growing. Our client list is expanding along with our regional footprint which covers South East Asia and India and we are looking for the right special kind of talent to join our team.
We work in the B2B sector and focus on technology and professional services. As we expand our operations, we are looking for international thinking and dynamic young professionals to join our media relations team based in Mumbai, India.

Responsibilities :
- Engage with the clients to develop strategic outreach programmes
- Provide the day-to-day contact executing the programmes based on agreed client engagement plans
- Develop, build and maintain great relationships with the media (press, broadcast, blogger, online) and influencers
- Research and develop original news releases or adapt corporate releases and other items for local distribution
- Follow up on media releases to secure coverage, set up interviews and secure opportunities for content placement
- Ensure that the firm's reputation and position within the influencer and media audience is enhanced and maintained at a sufficiently high level
- Monitor the media for the latest news trends, trending stories and content relevant to the business, client business and engagement
- Identifying key hot topics within the social media, blogosphere that may enhance the client's business or Priority's ongoing business.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A diploma or degree from a university or institution in business, public relations, communications, or journalism
- 2-3 years experience in a communications role either in-house or with an agency
- Multi-lingual candidates are preferred and an excellent command of English is imperative to work with our multinational clients
- Have an outstanding customer-focused attitude and approach to be able to work across time zones (US and Europe) and cultures
- Must be a disciplined team player with lots of initiative.
