About the Role :
In the Vendor Success Program (VSP), you will have the exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy for managing VSP vendors. You will be responsible for an Operations team supporting strategic and operational aspects of managing the customer relationships with our vendors. You will interface internally with leaders of our Vendor Services teams and product organizations and will be responsible for all aspects of the VSP vendor's business with Amazon. Your team will be involved in liaising with internal teams to provide oversight, integrating with vendors on strategic and operational aspects of their business, root cause analysis of issues and opportunities affecting the vendor's business as well as acting as a vendor advocate influencing product roadmap. Duties may include, taking part in planning, organizing and directing the work of subordinates or others, outline procedures and instructions on work received, make time estimates on new jobs received, check accuracy / quality of content creation / population done by others, ensuring records are maintained accurately, mentor and train new team members.
Responsibilities Include :
- Success will be measured by the performance on input metrics and impact of vendors on creating a great customer experience for buying consumers
- Managing vendor relationship by championing the vendor's needs
- Build strong communication channels at all levels, set proper expectations, provide clear status communications, and manage towards a growth plan for the vendors
- Perform deep dive analysis on the handled issues for the vendors and publish recommendations and action plans based on data to improve vendor experience
- Provide leadership around planning, roadmaps and execution
- Establish long term partnerships with key vendor partners for the group of vendors managed by you
- Work with various internal teams (e.g. supply chain, fulfillment center, system teams) to help drive tools and process improvements that affect vendor management workflows
- Participate in manufacturer and vendor reviews; drive vendor scorecard excellence
Qualification & Experience :
- Graduate (any stream), with over 4 + years of experience of which a minimum 2 + years in managing procurement, vendor management and interacting with customers / stake holders (including 1+ year in Cloudtail)
- Ensure high service delivery and execution
- Vendor management.
- Process improvement and Kaizen (Good to have).
- Proven analytical skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills. Ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly. Demonstrated active listening skills and solutions-oriented.
- Operate in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment with full control and responsibility of achieving business objectives.
- Develop original ideas, approaches, and solutions to typical, unusual or difficult situations or problems.
- Ability to work in teams and ultimately focus on delivering results with high standards.
- Attention to detail and capability to work on multiple projects in parallel.
