Job Title: Sales Head
Objectives of the Role:
- To drive sales growth in mid and large size corporates and govt companies and get regular large accounts with repeat business. Guide a team of field sales professionals.
- New business development and sales initiatives,
- This is a focused role to help the company achieve assigned Sales numbers with overall improvement in Order booking.
- This involves monitoring and driving the sales pipeline through aggressive management, effective relationship building, account management and customer care.
The KRAs
This is a senior management profile with cross functional skills
Growing revenue from:
- Current stream of leads
- Increasing repeat rate
- Relationship building with key customers
- Expanding Product portfolio
- Monitor sales team performance and improve efficiency
- Improve customer response time and customer care
- Ensuring strict adherence to laid out processes and productivity numbers.
- For large leads, to plan and execute persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with the company by analysing customers, evaluating potential and making business recommendations
- Developing complimentary product range and executing marketing/ sales plans.
Results Expected
- Increased funnel leading to improved sales
- Increasing margins.
- Improved customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Improved service delivery leading to growth in revenue
Required Skills & Expertise
- Excellent personnel skills and team builder
- Strong data based analytical skills
- Sales and negotiation skills
- Must be enthusiastic, self-motivated and good resource planner
- Should have good knowledge of computers. Knowledge of ERP systems preferred.
Required Qualifications:
- Overall 10-12 years experience. To be in similar role for at least 2-3 years
- MBA preferred
