Principal Copy Writer - Advertising Firm (5-10 yrs)
PRINCIPAL COPYWRITER :
Objective :
This role is responsible for all copy/content, within a given communication unit, to work across a range of media and formats, interpreting account briefs to compose clutter-breaking marketing communication pieces for campaigns and one-off projects - that provide tangible, measurable solutions to brands and businesses world-wide. This role also is responsible for creating award-winning work, wherever possible - and also entails keeping abreast of advertising, marketing, technology developments worldwide.
Key Responsibilities :
Functional Responsibilities :
- Deliver strategic communication solutions that help clients attain their marketing and communications objectives
- Conceiving and developing out-of-the-box concepts
- Ensure that the creative product is cutting-edge and ahead of the competition Work with Client Service, Design and UI for all copy requirement and contribute to the creative process
- Understand the objective and provide solutions by finding ways and means cutting across functions
- Identify and provide non-standard solutions - novel ideas
- Keeping abreast of the latest trends across functions and initiate to apply in day-to-day work
- Interpret brief from Clients and Client Servicing teams
- Research Clients, their Competitors and their target audiences
- Rework communication/campaigns based on feedback
- Present to Client along with Client Service team
Organisation Responsibilities :
- Manage requirements independently within the definitions of the job role
- Understand business and commercial implications to provide solutions
- Effective utilisation of teams and resources to increase revenue

Competence:
Education:
- Graduate degree
Work Experience:
- 5-10 years of experience as a Copywriter
- Relevant experience in Digital Design and/or Advertising space
- Exposure to branding is preferred
Knowledge :
- Hands on knowledge of the limitations and possibilities of Web and Mobile technology/concepts
- Good experience with software and web applications
Skills :
