Pricing & Sales Role - Air Freight Forwarding Business (5-10 yrs)
Main Function -
To manage Air and Sea Pricing efficiently there by increasing productivity and profit for the company.
To support the aims and objectives set by the management and work towards the company's goal.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Procurement of competitive freight rates from the carriers for Air and Sea shipments.
- Strong rapport with Overseas Network agents for competitive pricing.
- Co-ordination with the overseas agent for shipments in-case of nominations.
- Providing pricing support to the sales team.
- Ensure that the shipments move smoothly & all the queries / RFQ's are been attended to.
- Retaining the existing clients & deep selling to increase business share.
- Ability to plan ways to meet set targets & schedule the daily activities..
- Proactively identify problems and implement effective solutions.
- Coordinating closely with the operations / customs staff and the clients, if required.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years- Experience in Freight forwarding industry is a Must.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
