Role Definition :
The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, securing, and managing new business opportunities and project prospects, including developing relationships with new clients. This role involves strategic planning to ensure business growth and sustainability.
Responsibilities and Deliverables :
- Tracking Upcoming Project : Stay updated on potential project opportunities to inform business strategy and present relevant plans to management.
- Review of Estimations and Offers : Oversee estimations and offers prepared by the business development team, ensuring they meet client requirements and align with company objectives.
- Developing Business Development Skills : Continuously improve negotiation and business development skills to secure contracts and build long-term client relationships.
- Identifying New Clients and Products : Actively identify and target new clients and products to expand business offerings.

Monitoring Upcoming Projects :
- Maintain an updated database of upcoming project opportunities for strategic planning.
Review of Estimations and Offers :
- Analyze and review cost estimates and proposals, ensuring they meet client requirements.
- Attend client meetings and follow up on proposals to secure orders.
Developing Business Development Skills :
- Engage in discussions and meetings with clients to enhance negotiation skills.
- Assist in negotiating with sub-suppliers for tenders.
- Highlight unique selling points (USPs) to reduce competition and secure projects.
- Support project execution teams by resolving any issues related to project delivery, deadlines, or payments.
Identifying New Clients and Products :
- Continuously research market trends and competitors to identify potential clients and product diversification opportunities.
- Conduct market due diligence to ensure business expansion into new areas.
Performance Metrics
- Sales Volume : Achieve targeted sales booking volumes.
