Product Merchandising (Jewelry)
Objective: Create portfolio of successful Product line - to be distinctly different for sustainable growth.
PLANNING :
Photoshoot :
1. Ensure new product line developed are photographed for records / further processing
2. Create and update Catalogues as per design themes
Sample Line :
1. Plan adequate Sample line (Brass) aligning with Sales Requirements
2. Ensure to refresh sample line as per new development and best sellers
3. Keep Sample line updated as per Segments / Themes
4. Seek feedback from Sales Team to identify new developments
Visual Merchandising :
1. Suggest Designs to be highlighted in marketing activities for synchronizing Advertising and Brand building activities.
2. Plan Display kits for Trade shows
New Development :
1. Anticipate new trends by attending Trade-shows regularly
2. Seek new creative inspirations from Culture rich places
3. Coordinate with new development team projects every week
4. Ensure newly developed products are photographed and updated in Catalogues.
5. Keep Catalogues updated as per Collections developed
6. Keep Catalogues updated as per Design Numbers.
7. Participate in various competitions and strive to be award winners.
Training :
1. Train and update the Sales Team / Operational Team about new developments
2. Share reasons of Designs / Themes / Best Sellers to communicate with Customers
DELEGATING :
1. Delegate responsibilities to your juniors / assign responsibilities as per their strengths.
2. Ensure adequate availability of your team to be present during Trade Shows
MOTIVATION :
1. Communicate Sales team showing actual product line to ensure that the design and actual products are same - highlight any technical / designing challenges for further improvements.
2. Appreciate all teams for successful best sellers
3. Suggest trainings and exposure for further improvements / growth.
MONTIORING AND MEASURMENT
1. Monitor output and success ratio of new developments
2. Monitor Sales as per Fast Selling / Slowing moving SKU
3. Identify Price and Product Gaps in existing portfolio and fill the gaps
