POPxo - Lifestyle Editor (4-7 yrs)
The ideal candidate will have a robust knowledge of the digital lifestyle space and today's beauty and fashion landscape- and be a relentless, ideas-driven self-starter who thrives at the speed of the web and can confidently write with a stylish, lifestyle-magazine voice.
Job Responsibilities:
- Source and write up to 5 daily posts- a mix of great original reporting, lifestyle content including sex and relationships, and social aggregation.
- Help build conversations on the Popxo App and social media platforms.
- Execute the content strategy in the vertical.
- Use traffic data and social-media feedback to find new coverage areas, optimize performance, and maintain consistent growth.
What we are looking for:
- Someone with the passion for lifestyle and service journalism.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working in media, with a focus on editing, writing, and daily programming across various platforms.
- Strong writing, editing and research skills.
- Experience publishing in a CMS and using Photoshop.
- Knowledge of SEO practices.
- Understanding of social media platforms and online video.
