- PolicyBazaar.com is India's largest insurance marketplace and a leading fintech player globally. It has backing from a host of investors including the likes of Soft Bank, InfoEdge (Naukri.com), Temasek, Tiger Global Management, True North, Premji Invest. The portal started in 2008 with the purpose to educate people on insurance products and has had a significant influence on how insurance is bought in India. What we are looking for in a candidate ?
- Ability to translate business or product problem statements into key insights that shape major business decisions
- Eager to grow into a product or business role in the future
- Creating or modifying automated dashboards to support day-to-day tracking of business metrics
- Work with business teams for driving the long-term Business Strategy
- Work with sales and marketing teams to scale business
- Work with cross-functional internal teams for ensuring timely execution.
- Ability to quickly understand the end-to-end business journeys
- An appetite to go deep into use cases and scenarios by way of investigation to solve customer-centric problems that are often invisible to managers
- Good communication skills important for clear delivery of insights
- Funnel analysis and campaign tracking of key metrics
- Ability to work between departments to collect and collate information
Desired Skills and Experience :
- 1-3 years of relevant experience (preferably in e-commerce)
- Exposure to Start-ups or High growth companies preferred
- Excellent with MS Excel. Advanced Excel will be great to have
- Experience aligning and driving cross-functional groups
- Passionate about working in entrepreneurial set-ups and creating/ managing a business
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Independent thinker
Good to have : Python/SAS/R/Tableau/SQL - basically, you need to find a way to automate reports, or maintain existing reports.
- Good Exposure to Google Analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exposure to & understanding of business aspects: sales, product, marketing, revenue
- A willingness and an independent urge to solve customer issues
- Persistent, performance-driven and solution-oriented
