- We are building the leadership team for international growth and this is one of the key roles in ensuring success within the team by defining the right strategic goals, finding levers to crack the goals and ensuring the executing team sticks to the plan as earmarked with check ins at regular intervals. The role has an exciting mix of ideating, strategizing and picking up different experiments from time to time and taking them to a scalable level for the next set of folks to pick it up.
Responsibilities :
Core objective is to be a guiding light to the leadership team in international Growth and be the driving force of this office to help with strategy, Insights, execution plan, design and own the execution with multiple stakeholders.
We are over optimized for experiments, data driven calls, execution, speed and ownership as key levers in the person to succeed in this role.
Key aspect of role are -
- To work closely with the leadership team of international growth & content marketing
- The charter of this team is to bring organic app installs and revenue to pocket fm via organic content marketing and to contribute to more than 25% of company's revenue to come from Organic channels . Our key identified platforms for growth are youtube, facebook for long form consumption to potential users and audiences.
- Work closely with head of international Growth to find new levers of organic growth
- Ideate, test and scale new affiliate and partnership channels
- Drive organic marketing decisions through quantitative results and AB testing, and qualitative research and customer insights
- Collaborate with internal teams like creative, product, tech and more, to find new levers of growth
- Explore new areas of growth e.g inorganic acquisitions , youtube partnerships, Exploring new markets via content mktg or partnerships
- Constantly create a framework for experiments within the team and to keep scaling the successful experiments and MVPs.
- Help with defining AOP
- Create and monitor KPIs and regular check ins for core roles within the team
- Creating and implementing the growth plan in line with overall business objectives while striking a balance between longer-term strategic activities, mid-term scaling and team expansion, as well as quick wins to achieve targets
Qualifications
- 4 + Years of relevant work experience
- A desire to understand consumer behavior and mindset
- Comfortable working hands-on in a fast-paced start-up environment
- Curious about metrics, execution processes and keeping an eye out for details
- Strong use of analytics, user research, and business cases to drive decisions
- Experimentation mindset
- Passion for technology products built for scale
- Exposure to YouTube, FB and Media platforms or having worked in content/ media in past preferred
