Senior Manager Sales & Business Development
Plugxr is growing and we are now looking for a senior manager, a strong doer with experience from scaling saas business into multi million dollar businesses. This position is a key position in PlugXR and you will over time take a leadership role managing sales and
business development managers. You will report directly to the CEO.
Responsibilities :
- Identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products and services and propose a strategic to the management
- Seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation in order to close deals
- Generate leads and follow up with customers/clients face to face or over the phone understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
- Work close with Marketing advising on best practice around lead generation
- Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
- Have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise others about them
- Ensure staff are on board throughout the organisation, and understand the need for change and what is required of them
- Train members of your team, arranging external training where appropriate
- Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department
- Liaise with the finance team, warehousing and logistics departments as appropriate
- Attend seminars, conferences and events where appropriate
- Keep track of trends and changes in the business world related to plugxrs business
- Negotiate pricing with customers, and suppliers in some cases
- Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to senior management
Education and Experience Requirements :
- BA & Msc in business administration or a related field of technology
- Minimum 5 years of sales and sales management experience
- Experience from Saas business is a must
- Entrepreneurial spirit and a strong doer who can network with C level
- Experience from start ups and scaling business is beneficial
