Planys Technologies - Executive - Business Development (0-1 yrs)
The Business Development Executive is an integral member of a small team of professionals including the senior leadership. The person in this role will focus on driving growth through exploration of new markets, identifying potential clients, performing relevant market research, manage day-to-day operations in Sales and Marketing, liaising with client operations team and Planys Operations team during projects to ensure smooth execution.
Essential Functions / Job Duties:
- Execute the business development plans by regular proactive interaction with the clients, client - support to create loyalty, gain repeat business and attract new business.
- Provide accurate client requirement to the technical team for smooth execution of the projects with efficiency and accuracy
- Actively monitor and engage with the technical team to execute / deliver the project in line with the client requirement
- Manage/assist in day-to-day Business Development activities such as proposal writing, assisting Planys Operations team liaising with client (during projects), regular follow-up with clients on activities (follow-up on proposals, invoices, work completion certificates etc) and assistance during submitting proposals during tender bids.
- Participate in the analysis and development of long term growth strategy which reflects market inputs, Planys- capabilities, and market requirement and perform relevant market research on competitors, clients, technology, technology trends, foreign markets etc.
- Assist Planys- marketing team in their initiatives and campaigns
- Represent Planys in national / international conferences, exhibitions, seminars etc as needed.
Qualification: A management/operations degree or an engineering degree with prior experience in business development is preferred.
Essential knowledge, Skills and abilities:
- Prior experience in sales / market research / marketing experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and communication capabilities to influence key decision makers and establish strong business relationships
- Acumen to handle tense/stressful situations and take relevant action with or without management support
- Business acumen to understand customer requirement and offer actionable and deliverable solutions
- Willingness to learn, undergo training program, if necessary, to understand the nature of work, and service offerings by Planys; which would be required to deliver at appropriate standards
- Superior communications and writing skills
- Ability to work in a diverse team
- Willingness and flexibility to travel alone or with the team (Domestic and International)
