PlanEdu - Manager - Business Development (0-2 yrs)
Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the education sector, with a proven track record in driving growth and expanding market share. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and a passion for education.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and evaluate market trends.
- Analyze competitor offerings and market positioning to develop strategies for differentiation.
Business Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve revenue goals and expand market presence.
- Identify key growth areas and opportunities for product development or enhancement.
Client Relationship Management :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including educational institutions, government agencies, and corporate clients.
- Understand client needs and requirements to tailor solutions and services accordingly.
Sales and Revenue Generation :
- Lead sales initiatives to acquire new clients and achieve sales targets.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
Marketing and Promotion :
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and seminars to promote company products and services.
Team Collaboration :
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including product development, customer support, and finance to ensure seamless execution of business strategies.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members as needed.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in business development or sales within the education sector, with a minimum of -years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of educational technologies, products, and services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
