Pixelvision - Manager - Sales (5-8 yrs)
Role :
A technology company led by graduates from the University of Oxford including successful serial entrepreneurs and members of Forbes- 30 Under 30 (Asia) is looking for a talented and ambitious Sales Manager to drive the sales and marketing function. The Sales Manager will help build and scale the company through strategic positioning, narrative design, lead generation, building product awareness, building and managing the sales pipeline, etc. The ideal candidate has experience in marketing/scaling B2B software products (ideally SaaS) and a background in sales to enterprise clients across industries such as fertiliser, agriculture, mining, oil & gas (PSU), renewable energy, construction, etc. The ideal candidate also has a broad and deep network within the target client base.
Responsibilities :
- Support the overall marketing and sales function including taking responsibility for customer acquisition and retention
- Responsible for creating monthly and quarterly marketing strategy plans and sales targets
- Designing, planning and executing effective marketing campaigns in line with the plan; designing and tracking metrics to measure campaign effectiveness
- Building brand awareness and focusing on customer awareness and education
- Creating channel-optimised content strategies based on the business objectives, category focus and audience segments through multiple channels including both online and offline
- Designing and coordinating promotional campaigns, PR and other marketing efforts across channels (digital, press etc.)
- Rapidly testing and optimising sales and marketing strategies across channels to ensure high ROI on all sales and marketing efforts
- Identifying competitors, evaluating their strategies and positioning, and devising counter-strategies
Required Experience/Skills :
- Ability to understand software product and strategically position sales and marketing efforts
- Ability to quickly develop a deep and nuanced understanding of the product ecosystem and market dynamics
- Strong communication skills and empathy
- Willingness to take initiative, ability to function independently alongside leadership team
- Demonstrable experience in driving sales for a B2B software product with large and medium-sized enterprise clients
- Prior experience scaling a technology product as part of an early-stage and high-growth company
- Prior experience within the asset inspection/drone/GIS solutions industries is a massive plus
