Pilgrim - Area Sales Manager (3-10 yrs)
- Achieve primary, secondary, collection, and offtake targets as set by the company.
- Meet collection, DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), and ageing targets.
- Drive growth and improve store rankings at the regional level.
- Oversee inventory management at stores, ensuring adherence to FIFO and successful new product launches.
- Achieve sales targets for both category-specific products and new launches.
- Maintain a 35-45 day stock cover at distributors.
- Generate and submit detailed sales reports, including stock & sales reports, OPEX, daily and weekly summaries, BA productivity, and closing stock reports.
- Deliver NSO (Net Sales Objective) targets for both BA and non-BA doors.
- Ensure timely submission of distributor claims.
- Oversee 60-80 BA counters and 150-200 non-BA doors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers and distributors.
- Ensure timely distribution of stocks, offers, and product testers.
- Expand distribution by appointing new distributors and counters, while driving geographic expansion.
- Execute all marketing and promotional activities in the field.
- Provide regular updates on market trends and competitor activities.
The Ideal Profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in regional General Trade, preferably in Beauty & Personal Care or FMCG.
- Proven track record of meeting sales, collection, and inventory management targets.
- Strong multi-stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with experience in preparing sales and business reports.
- Willingness to travel 12-15 days per month
