Job brief

This role is focused on driving PhonePe acceptance @ offline merchants. He/she will help us in accelerating oupresence in offline space by driving merchant acquisition & servicing within an assigned geographical area. In this role, we seek outstanding sales,negotiation, and interpersonal skills. We expect you to manage a team of 10+ off roll manpower. 


- Candidate needs to have perseverance and conviction to deliver on stretched targets.

Responsibilities :

- Building relationships with Merchants to promote trust and acceptance of PhonePe as a preferred payment partner.

- Monitor KPIs, conduct, and providing performance reviews.

- Acquire and onboard merchants on the PhonePe platform.

- Conducting individual client meetings to present products and services to prospective customers.

- Coach and provide on-the-job-training to the front line sales team.

- Ensure brand visibility in assigned territory.

Requirements

- BBA, MBA - Tier 3 Colleges are highly preferred.

- Proven experience of 2 to 6 years in sales role managing off roll / on roll direct sales team. (Minimum team size of 4-5)

- Candidates with field sales experience with a proven track record of increasing sales and revenue.

- Excellent interpersonal skills and a solid sales/customer service focus

(approachable, positive, motivated, go-getter attitude).

- Ability to multitask and prioritize.

- Aggressive, Competitive spirit, Professionalism

- Ability to execute plans and strategies in the assigned territory.

- Proficient in MS Office, familiarity with Salesforce is an added advantage.

- Candidates from Telecom, FMCG, Retail are highly preferred

- Good to have B2B & B2C Experience
