Job Title - Visual Merchandiser
Department / Division - Mall Management
Position reports to Head Marketing - West & North

Minimum Qualification :
(i.e education, training etc.) - Architect / Interior designer / Designer with Visual Merchandising Design or Diploma / Degree from NIFT specializing in VM.
Minimum Experience - 6-10 years in VM in retail.
Special Skills/Attributes:
- Effective conceptualization to communicate the thought.
- Creative and ability of translating the brief into executable designs.
- Strong aesthetic, design sensibilities.
- Posses expert knowledge and key understanding of the visual industry.
- Good negotiation skills.
Overall Purpose/Objective :
Of the job Communicate through innovative VM design to generate consumer interest in the Mall.
Conceptualize themes / developing new elements and effectively execute the themes to keep customers engaged during their visit to the Centre (Mall).
Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for providing direction for visual merchandising at various centres.
- Designing / conceptualizing ideas, themes and effectively execute such themes at the Centre.
- Develop short and long term visual strategies that would help the centre (mall) to enhance customer engagement at the mall.
- Work / interact with the Marketing team to ensure the VMs / themes are in line with the events executed at the Centre.
- Ensure that the VM for all the mall events and the events organised by the agencies is as per the standards.
- Plan / create themes that would be seasonal and engage customers at the centre.
- Ensure that the seasonal d- cor is done at par with the standards.
- Ensure that the d- cor for the ART programme running at the mall is at par with the standards.
- Co-ordinate and supervise all installations / displays.
- Determine the positions / sites for directional signages and ensure effective design and placement of such signages.
- Develop appropriate vendors and ensure effective execution thru- such vendors.
- Conduct market surveys to understand new trends / customer expectations and improve customer engagement at the centre.
