JOB DESCRIPTION FOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Identify and develop new business opportunities at B2B channel by promoting service/ product range to New Clients.
- Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
- Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities.
- Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals.
- Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements. Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Establish & maintain efficient relationship with new and existing clients.
- Generate new business opportunities in assigned territory / channel.
QUALIFICATIONS
A university degree in commerce, marketing or business studies is preferred.
SKILLS REQUIRED
1) Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information.
2) Proven ability to perform as a self-starter.
3) Excellent oral and written communication skills, plus a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required.
4) Excellent negotiation skills.
5) Team player and ability to work with & through others.
6) Strong ability to build and maintain effective relationship with B2B clients.
