Merry Tails Pet Solutions is a pet care company based in Mumbai. The company is currently in 2 businesses-

1) Dog Boarding - We run the largest boarding facility in Mumbai called Petfelix. www.petfelix.com

2) Dog snacks - We will soon be manufacturing a range of dog snacks. The first product from this brand a range of healthy food biscuits - will be launched soon

Job Role ( role will entail marketing responsibilities for both the businesses above)-

1. Digital Advertising

a. Digital advertising planning

b. Operationalizing the media campaigns hands on

c. Analysis of campaign efficacy and results

2. Social Media

a. Social media planning

b. Social media execution In-house

i. Handling the social handles

ii. Creating posts - simple video based and picture based - the ones which can be done on a smart phone using apps

iii. Social media execution Outsourced - Coordinating with external agencies/people for execution of social media content

3. Website related - SEO and content management for the website

4. Handling creative and content agencies - Coordinating with external agencies for execution of creative work collaterals, posters, branding for events, video content

5. Engagement with trade channels / pet shops /veterinary doctors

6. Marketing planning for participation in trade events

7. Supporting sales efforts with collaterals, planning of trade promotions

What are we looking for in the candidate like any other start up, we are extremely nimble. We try things, generate learnings, redefine our approach to things- and keep moving. This kind of environment is good for someone who likes new challenges, is comfortable learning new skills and taking new experiences in their stride. This would also mean that there would be a steep learning curve... You will be expected to learn and execute on many different aspects of marketing - many of which will be new to you. However, the founder will be personally involved in this journey with you to help you learn the ropes. You will be expected to be a good learner to begin with ....before you are expected be a good marketer

Qualifications :

- Post graduate in management

- Good command over English

- Should be fond of dogs - need not be a pet owner per se, but needs to be comfortable around dogs

- Creatively inclined

- Keen to learn

- Comfortable in using social media
