Performance Marketing Role (3-6 yrs)

In order to do so, it is very critical that we connect with our customers across the entire life cycle and always aim towards user acquisition, user user acquisition, user growth & user user retention from day 1. You will - raise the bar- for growth basis data driven full funnel marketing based on rapid experimentation. Unlike a traditional marketing manager where they just focus on the customer acquisition, our growth marketers will focus on the entire customer life cycle from awareness, acquisition, activation, retention, revenue, referral and so on. As a Performance Marketer you will be continuously challenging your own work with questions around user sign-ups, activation, offers, price strategies, up selling cross selling etc. Hence, it is no longer just marketing, but it is growth with in-depth product and tech involvement.
You will be responsible for setting up profitable user acquisition strategies, quality acquisition over quantity, while leading and managing relationships with performance marketers, affiliates and paid marketing experiments using Google, Facebook and other channels. You will be expected to start experimenting with how to improve conversions along the way. This will also require you to have a lot of customer empathy and behavioral psychology. We want someone who is super hands on for this, a growth hacking mindset who believes in settling for the best outcomes - be it cohorts, display ads, copy and also setting benchmarks to beat in terms of return on investments.
We believe that growth is too important a function to be managed by any external agency and hence we want in-house experts who will take out customer life cycle management and help grow exponential
Role & Responsibilities:
- At Raise, you will develop strategic acquisition and retention marketing plans to drive growth and maximize immediate and short-term / long-term ROI.
- Attitude for settling for nothing, but profitable user acquisition. Think and drive user acquisition as a P & L business itself.
- Build, lead, execute and manage Adv. Networks, Performance Marketing partners, Affiliates and large networks.
- Experiment and lead campaigns end-to-end from conception to defining objectives, execution, tracking, and reporting.
- Day-to-day management of online campaigns across channels including (but not limited to): paid social, paid search, content, organic, referral, email, direct mail, podcasts, affiliate, videos etc.
- Lead overall site/app conversion rate optimization and develop and optimize landing page strategy if required.
- Continuously test and optimize new channels, audiences, networks, publishers.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on KPIs to ensure marketing initiatives are driving profitable acquisition
- Use analytics and business intelligence tools such as Google Analytics and internal dashboards to better understand our customers and exploit those insights in marketing campaigns
- Measure everything, champion metrics-driven analysis and decision-making throughout the organization
- Think strategically, analytically, and creatively about new ways to reach customers and increase relevance
- Working closely with product & business owners to ensure a great customer experience
Skills Required:
- MBA along with a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, finance or related field, and awareness of growth and marketing for tech platforms. For experienced and competent individuals, we would value their experience much more than academics.
- Past and latest experience with a financial services company will be awesome. Banking, financial service, or payment services companies are super!
- 3-6 years of direct acquisition, growth-focused experience in digital marketing, B2C business and startup experience preferred.
- Experience building a comprehensive digital marketing strategy from the ground up
- Proven success managing online marketing programs with CPC, CPA, and CPM cost models on Google, Facebook, Instagram, and content sites
- Creativity to lead campaigns, define target audiences and knowledge of consumer behavior
- Required to have a thorough understanding of various online and offline marketing funnels
- Very data driven, Sensitivity to potential trade-offs between performance and branding
- Strong sense of ownership with humility and eagerness to learn and grow
- Fluent in English communication, confident, articulate, and self-motivated
