Pepper Content - Content Editor (1-5 yrs)

We are looking for an Editor, who is a Grammar Nazi. You will coordinate, review and edit all forms of content. The candidate is responsible for fact-checking writers- articles and optimizing written pieces to increase user engagement. The goal is to provide exceptional, informative and engaging content.
Job Responsibilities:
- Editing content pieces as required by the operations and business team and coordinate with the Head of Editorial to manage all freelance editors and the huge network basis that.
- Write copy for social media, and all other official pepper channels (internal/social media).
- Deliver engaging content on a regular basis across several channels (newsletters, articles & blogs, email campaigns, product collaterals, PRs, explainer videos, social media marketing, branding events, corporate collaterals, whitepapers, etc.)
- Excellent creative writing capabilities (Please share your past work/blog link). Being a blogger is a huge plus!
- Coordinate with Operations and Business Team on client change requests
- Work closely with cross-functional partners (publicity, marketing, content, comms, and more) to learn and bring different disciplines along with you. A big idea isn't a big idea if you're doing it alone.
The ideal candidate must be :
- Excellent English speaking and writing skills.
- A Postgraduate degree or diploma in journalism would be preferred.
- Passion, humility, integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and self-directed.
- Be driven by curiosity and innovation, and always up for a good challenge.
- Have a network and the skills to manage freelance writers, creative designers, and external agencies and providers.
- The ability to tell an engaging, cohesive story through any visual or audio medium (Twitter thread, Instagram post, YouTube video, Podcast, etc.)
- High tolerance for change, and the capacity to accomplish enormous amounts in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
