Peoplebox - Sales Development Role (1-4 yrs)
About the role :
As an SDR at Peoplebox, you will be responsible for generating and qualifying new sales opportunities for our sales team. You are a motivated individual who is eager to learn, naturally curious, enjoys a challenge and has great phone presence. You will own the initial stage of the sales process, and your day-to-day will consist of reaching out to high value prospects, generating interest in Peoplebox's offerings, booking meetings for the sales team, and assisting Marketing and Sales with insights from your conversations.
Key responsibilities:
- Generating new opportunities using creative outbound techniques
- Cold calls/Emails/LinkedIn prospecting every day in and day out
- Creating engaging and personalized email communications
- Achieving, and exceeding, weekly/monthly metrics (meetings, qualified leads, new contacts, etc.)
- Responding to inbound customer interest and developing these accounts to create opportunities
- Learn, leverage and help evolve the demand generation process.
- Bringing your insights to the wider team (Sales, Marketing, Senior Leadership) to help with planning and strategic direction
Requirements :
- 1-2 years experience in a B2B sales role (SaaS sales preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, organise, and prioritise work
- Highly competitive personality
- Highly motivated, driven, and self-starting individual
- Clear, compelling, and competent communication across email, social media, and the phone
- Knowledge and use of CRM, Hubspot and LinkedIn highly preferred
- Creative, perseverant and not afraid to fail
- Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills
- Have the grit to handle rejections efficiently.
- A desire to grow and advance a career in sales
- Willing to work in different time zone as per business
