Job Description :
- Paytmmall is looking for self-driven & energetic business leaders with strong bias for action to take the Ecommerce business to the next level.
- As a Category Manager, you would define the direction of the business and own end to end execution of the roadmap across Product, Business Development, Partner & Customer experience and Marketing functions
- Paytmmall strives to present its customers with the widest selection of products at the best prices - The Category manager's role is to bring in the relevant assortment, design targeted promotions, manage partners including sellers and brands.
- The successful candidate for this high impact role will be a self-starter with a passion for independent, creative problem-solving, have proven data analysis skills, show strong ownership and commitment, have proven experience in ecommerce leading brand / vendor negotiations.
Role & Responsibilities :
- Deliver business metrics for the category viz Availability (# of listings, stock availability, # of merchant partners), Sales (GMV, Qty Sold) and Profitability (% gross margins)
- Maintain the balance between MOM growth for current sellers and ensuring seller distribution - acquiring new sellers for the category while growing business for current sellers & building local supply
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Key brands
- Ensure the category sellers deliver a good experience for buyers in the category
- Do demand and trend forecasting, on-board apt regional supplies basis the same
- Liaise with growth and marketing teams, to optimise visibility to maximize Rev / UPV and plan and coordinate promotional activities
- Optimize customer delivery metrics NPS, O2S, Returns and Ratings
Profile Requirements :
- MBA/Master's degree
- Work Experience of 3-5 years of managing a category in an e-commerce set-up with at least 2 years in managing supply side
- Business development mindset and strong operational coordination
- Good negotiation skills
- Strong numerical and analytical aptitude
- Proven experience leading cross-functional projects
- Proficient in MS Office
- Attention to detail and comfortable working in a ground-up business environment
