Paytm - Business Development Manager - B2B Sales (2-7 yrs)
This is akin to a B2B sales model involving prospecting, solutioning, sales closure and growing the relationship thereafter.
Role requirements :
Customer Acquisition :
- Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis and be able to find solutions to their payments.
- Drives customer acquisition by identifying target segments for both B2C as well as B2B client groups & work with the product team for customized solutions
- Organize and participate in Sales calls to acquire prospective customers.
- To be abreast of the latest developments in the payment banking space and the key issues being faced by targeted customers.
Customer Servicing :
- Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel/decision makers in assigned key accounts/ industry verticals/institutions
- Monitor the depth of all relationships acquired.
- Maximizing revenue from acquired customer.
Other :
- Meets assigned targets for sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts
- Pro actively leads strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones
- Continuously upgrade and innovate sales techniques to maximize productivity.
- Awareness of all policies and procedures issued in relation to money laundering prevention & KYC
- Any suspicious transaction must immediately be reported to the supervising officer
Skills Required :
- Self-starter, positive thinker, entrepreneurial, excellent social and negotiation skills
- Solution orientation and ability to think on one's feet
- Prior experience of B2B sales preferred but not mandatory
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiar with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
