Job purpose

Ability to effectively assist in developing and implementing sales/marketing strategies and initiatives both for short and long term in accordance with the agreed business plans.

Duties and responsibilities

Possess excellent knowledge of industrial products & markets especially pneumatic & hydraulic products

Develop sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenues

Responsible for sales planning, data acquisition & data mining

Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with individuals at all organized levels both internally and externally.

Cultivate effective business relationships with executive decision makers in key accounts

Plan & strategize effective customer relationship management initiatives

Increase brand visibility by participating in Trade fairs & business events

Monitor & report sales activities of field sales staff on daily & weekly basis

Track, collate and report weekly sales order booking & invoicing reports

Analyze & report planned sales order booking vs. actual sales order invoicing

Analyze & prepare MIS for reporting it to the management on regular basis

Qualification & skill set

B.E. - Mechanical / Chemical / Instrumentation

Experience in all aspects of planning and implementing sales strategy

Technical sales skills

Proven experience in customer relationship management

Knowledge of market research

Experience in managing and directing a sales team

Relevant product and industry knowledge

Experience with relevant software applications
