Parnassian Ventures - Vendor Manager - eCommerce Vertical (2-10 yrs)
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven E-commerce Vendor Manager to lead the acquisition and onboarding of new vendors for our e-commerce platforms, including Amazon, eBay, Shopify, and others. This role involves identifying potential vendor partnerships, pitching our reseller services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring successful vendor integration to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Acquisition and Relationship Management
- Identify, research, and target potential vendors to onboard.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to foster long-term partnerships.
- Act as the primary point of contact for vendor queries and support.
Pitching and Negotiation
- Present the value proposition of partnering with our company as a reseller.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to establish mutually beneficial agreements.
Onboarding and Integration
- Facilitate the onboarding process, ensuring smooth integration of vendor products into our e-commerce platforms.
- Collaborate with internal teams to set up product listings, pricing, and marketing campaigns.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
- Track vendor performance metrics, including sales, returns, and revenue contributions.
- Provide vendors with regular performance insights and recommend improvement strategies.
Market Analysis and Strategy Development
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and new vendor opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance vendor portfolio diversity and profitability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and operations teams to align vendor activities with business objectives.
- Ensure timely communication and resolution of issues related to inventory, compliance, or - customer feedback.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven experience in vendor management, business development, or sales (preferably in e-commerce).
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
- Proficiency in tools like Excel, CRM systems, and e-commerce platforms.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
