PaperTrue - Senior Editor (1-7 yrs)
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of five to seven editors and proofreaders
- Respond to editors- queries at all stages of the editing process
- Regularly assess editors- performance and give them constructive feedback
- Review edited documents to ensure high quality standards are maintained
- Collaborate with the Operations team to manage editors- deadlines
- Plan and conduct on-the-job training for editors
- Work with other Senior Editors and the Chief Editor to establish training processes
- Contribute to designing and creating training materials and documentation
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for your team
- Contribute creatively to PaperTrue's growth
- Contribute to strategically structuring training processes and the work flow of the editing team
Required Skills:
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage a tight and demanding schedule
- Strong communication and training skills, with the ability to pinpoint the implicit cause of editors- difficulties and clearly resolve their doubts
- Excellent English language skills, with in-depth knowledge of grammatical concepts and theory
- Good research skills, with a high level of curiosity and general awareness
