Packt - Manager - Sales & Marketing - India (6-10 yrs)
About The Role :
The role of a Sales & Marketing Manager is placed at the centre of our India Sales Support team, and would be responsible for driving the success of Packts whole range of products and learning solutions and brand promise in the market place for B2B and B2C customer segments. The incumbent will be primarily responsible for direct revenues achieved through the Packt website and would be spearheading digital marketing strategy including SEM, email marketing and social media in line with Packts business and brand objectives.
Responsibilities :
Align with India Management Team and UK team with a responsibility to scale-up Packt Digital and traditional marketing strategy in long and short term.
Meeting Direct revenue targets from the B2C segment through Packt e-Commerce platform and generating leads to support sales team
Manage CRM for a new India-specific list
Create an integrated marketing program utilizing tools including PPC, SEO, SEM, YouTube, Facebook, Blogs, and other forms of social media with all the pieces working together, further reporting, analysis and provide optimization recommendations
Develop/maintain other social media outlets to support and expand Packts digital presence in India
Accountable for all content marketing initiatives that will aid to drive traffic, engagement and leads that deliver sales thereby optimizing the path to conversion as well retention.
Run targeted content programs such as email campaigns on segmented customer base to drive brand to demand.
Creative inclination to design communication strategy with a brand publisher mind-set and expertise to address the needs of the target audience.
Provide overall content traffic reports and email campaign reports to improve them further. Analyse campaigns, web metric trends and provide fast, accurate reports to improve and/or add functionality in order to gain the best ROI for the organization
Conduct research and make recommendations on product merchandising, promotional strategies and functional capabilities in support of the evolving interactive, eCommerce and digital marketing requirements
Communication to the team and management on project development, campaign strategies, timelines and results
Key competencies:
Experience of marketing strategy as well as implementation of marketing plans to budget.
Experience in education marketing is preferred
Thorough understanding of learning products for target audience from B2C and B2B segment including channel partners.
Ability to interact with agency to conduct keyword discovery and generation using online tools, competitive research and analysis for keyword expansion and campaigns to generate more leads with the online marketing programs than others in the company can keep up with the volume
The position will work on problems of diverse scope requiring ecommerce sales, marketing and technical expertise
