Outsider Gaming - Content Writer - Video Games (1-5 yrs)
The Role :
- You will play video games and write high quality, well researched, factually correct guides, news and ranked listicles
- You must be good at video games (ideally PC games) - Games will be provided, in order to write guides.
- You will be self publishing articles onto Wordpress and will be required to insert relevant images, editing your articles for grammar and spelling and fact checking.
- Publish content live on the web complete with links, images, alt texts, proper formatting, SEO,
- Assist with recruiting new writers, and then work with them to produce high-quality content
- When new writers are recruited you will coach, critique, edit, and suggest revisions on their work.
- Follow a strict, pre-defined process and instructions provided to you via content brief and our writing style guide.
SEO - Locate new article topics to write about and optimise articles.
- Reliable people should only reply. No rude people.
The Person :
- Flawless English written and verbal communication. You don- t need to be a native English speaker but your written English must be free of spelling and grammatical errors and flow well (not be repetitive).
- You live and breath PC video games, play everything, or be willing to play various genres such as RPG, FPS, and more. You should be on the pulse of video games news and updates. - you will be creating guides on the latest video games.
- Familiar and flexible with the content writing.
- You should be open to coaching and feedback as required for the job.
- Have knowledge and experience of SEO content writing, uncovering what people are looking for and writing in a format that is easy to consume.
- Self-motivated and can work independently in a 100% remote position with all the necessary equipment: High-speed internet connection and Gaming PC.
- Reliable, professional, hard worker who is willing to learn.
