Outreach & Acquisition Role - Agreements (1-3 yrs)
Company Overview:
We are an expanding business in the commercial sector, specializing in outreach and acquisition. Our goal is to connect with property owners interested in selling and secure favourable agreements.
- We are looking for a proactive and driven Team Leader to start with hands-on outreach and then transition into a leadership role managing a dedicated team of cold callers.
Position Overview:
- The Team Leader will begin by conducting direct outreach calls, negotiating terms, and developing best practices.
- This individual will build team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and efficient systems to support the acquisition process.
- After the initial 3-4 months, the role will shift to team training, supervision, and performance tracking for a group of 5-10 cold callers.
Key Responsibilities:
Initial Outreach and Acquisition (First 3-4 Months):
1. Conduct calls to prospective clients, engaging them in conversation and assessing interest in selling.
2. Negotiate terms, record outcomes, and establish rapport to secure initial agreements.
3. Keep thorough records of outreach activities and effective strategies for later team use.
4. Evaluate and refine call scripts and communication strategies for maximum impact.
Building Systems and KPIs:
1. Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure productivity, call success rates, and conversions.
2. Set up clear reporting structures and create standard operating procedures (SOPs) for outreach.
3. Track metrics and establish monthly/weekly goals for self and team performance.
Transition to Team Leadership:
1. Recruit, onboard, and train a team of 5-10 cold callers, ensuring they understand scripts, best practices, and goals.
2. Coach team members on call skills, objection handling, and closing techniques.
3. Conduct regular evaluations, providing constructive feedback and support to drive improvement.
4. Recognize individual strengths and offer targeted coaching to enhance team effectiveness.
Ongoing Team Management:
1. Monitor KPIs and individual performance, adjusting tactics as needed to maintain target achievement.
2. Lead weekly meetings to review team goals, discuss challenges, and strategize improvements.
3. Collaborate with management to align outreach efforts with overall business objectives.
4. Enhance processes continuously, looking for ways to streamline and improve the
outreach model.
Process Improvement and Expansion:
1. Identify areas to improve outreach strategy, from initial engagement to securing agreements.
2. Adapt team strategies based on performance data and changing business needs.
3. Support company growth by scaling the outreach team and refining training programs.
Required Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in sales, lead generation, or customer engagement.
2. Previous experience in a team lead, supervisory, or training role, with a record of guiding and developing team members.
3. Strong negotiation skills and ability to close discussions effectively.
4. Familiarity with setting KPIs and managing performance metrics.
5. High attention to detail, with experience in data management or CRM tools.
6. Excellent communication skills for internal and external interaction.
