ORKAI - Team Lead - Sales (3-6 yrs)
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Team Lead to manage and guide a team of Business Development Managers (BDMs) in our course-selling vertical. The Team Lead will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, ensuring team performance, and fostering a collaborative and goal-oriented environment. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in sales, team management, and an understanding of the education or course-selling industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Business Development Managers to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Conduct regular team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews to ensure continuous development and alignment with organizational goals.
- Build a positive team culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and success.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize course enrollments and revenue.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas of improvement and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align sales initiatives with promotional campaigns.
Target Achievement:
- Set individual and team sales targets, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Support BDMs in closing high-value deals and resolving challenges in the sales process.
- Regularly track and report on team performance, providing insights and recommendations to management.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Ensure the team maintains strong relationships with leads and customers, fostering trust and long-term engagement.
- Address escalations and resolve customer issues promptly to ensure a positive customer experience.
Market Insights:
- Stay updated on market trends, competitors, and customer needs to refine sales strategies and offerings.
- Provide feedback to product development teams for course improvements and new opportunities.
Process Optimization:
- Streamline sales processes and implement tools to enhance team efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, sales protocols, and ethical practices.
