Job Summary :

The Pre-Sales Consultant for Interior Design will collaborate closely with the sales team to provide technical and design expertise during the pre-sales process. The role involves understanding client needs, developing design concepts, preparing proposals, and supporting the sales team in presenting solutions to clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior design, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate client requirements into compelling design solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Client Engagement : Work with the sales team to understand client requirements, preferences, and project objectives. Participate in client meetings to gather detailed information and establish rapport.


- Design Consultation : Provide expert advice on design options, materials, space planning, and color schemes to align with client needs and budgets.


- Solution Development : Collaborate with the design team to develop creative and practical design concepts that meet client requirements. Ensure that proposed solutions are feasible and align with company capabilities.

- Proposal Preparation : Assist in creating detailed proposals, including design concepts, project timelines, and cost estimates. Ensure proposals are professionally presented and tailored to the client's needs.

- Presentation Support : Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, showcasing design concepts and explaining how they meet the client's objectives. Address client questions and concerns effectively.

- Collaboration : Work closely with the sales, design, and project management teams to ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to project execution.

- Market Research : Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and technologies. Provide insights to the sales team on how these can be leveraged in client projects.

- Documentation : Maintain accurate records of client interactions, design concepts, and proposal details in the CRM system.

Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.


Experience : Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in interior design or a related field, with at least 1-2 years in a pre-sales or client-facing role.

Skills :


- Strong understanding of interior design principles, materials, and space planning.


- Excellent communication and presentation skills.


- Ability to understand and translate client needs into design concepts.


- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).


- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.


- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
