About The CEO And Co-Founder :
Ahana Gautam is an experienced operator with a passion to build and grow the biggest consumer brands in India. She has a B.Tech from IIT Bombay and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She started her career at P&G where she worked across multiple functions - supply chain, finance and marketing. Ahana grew her passion for food brands at General Mills in the US where she launched natural and organic products.
Job Summary :
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to oversee the sales operations of our company in the Mumbai region. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and leadership skills, a strong understanding of sales strategies and techniques, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of sales executives, developing and implementing sales plans, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities :
1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets.
2. Manage a team of sales executives and provide guidance and support as needed.
3. Identify new business opportunities and potential clients in the Chennai region.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners to ensure customer satisfaction.
5. Conduct market research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments.
6. Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports and feedback to senior management.
7. Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to ensure alignment of sales strategies with company goals.
8. Attend industry events and conferences to represent the company and network with potential clients and partners.
Requirements :
1. Bachelor's/PG degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
2. 4+ year of experience in sales, preferably in the same or related industry.
3. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a sales team.
4. Strong communication and leadership skills.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Willingness to travel within the Mumbai region as needed.
