Sales Training Specialist

We are looking for a Senior Sales training specialist to coordinate and support our Sales teams. Our ideal candidate understands our company objectives and suggests ideas to achieve them through sales training. For this position, you should combine excellent organization skills with an ability to interact with your team members and motivate them to succeed. You should be able to ensure our sales team is fully educated, to perform at a high level and increase customer satisfaction. This job will demand extensive traveling across the country

Roles and Responsibilities : 

- Conduct in-depth assessments of sales team performance; identify gap areas and skill deficiencies

- Develop comprehensive course curriculum designed to nurture skill growth and address deficiencies

- Conduct workshops, presentations, training courses and e-learning to present training material

- Prepare new sales representatives by conducting orientation to sales process; developing individual coaching plans; providing resources and assistance; scheduling orientation drive along with senior representatives.

- Determine training needs on periodic basis, evaluate strengths and weaknesses of team members, by traveling with sales representatives; observing sales encounters; studying sales performance reports and conferring with sales managers.

- Track training effectiveness, report to senior management and integrate lessons learnt

- Improve training effectiveness by developing new approaches and techniques; making support readily available; integrating support with routine job functions.

- Designing quality sales training programs within budget limitations

- Scheduling individual and team training plans on a regular basis

- Oversee training material and suggest improvements

- Maintain updated curriculum database and training records

- Collaborate with key stakeholders and review source material to design and create course outlines and storyboards which clearly and effectively communicate each lesson.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent sales Qualification

- 8+ years- experience in sales

- 5+ years- experience in sales training

- Highly developed interpersonal skills

- Excellent coaching skills

- Familiar with performance management methods

- Self-motivated and goal oriented

- Proven work experience as a Sales training specialist

- Extensive knowledge of learning principles and modern training techniques

- Proficiency in MS Office

- Understanding of Sales process in General Trade

- Understanding of electronic appliances will be preferred.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Strong organizational and team management skills
