Online Merchandiser (4-6 yrs)
We are seeking an experienced Online Merchandiser to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience in eCommerce and digital merchandising, with a proven track record of optimizing online sales and enhancing the customer shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities :
Product Management : Oversee and manage the online product catalog, ensuring accurate and appealing product listings, descriptions, and images.
Merchandising Strategy : Develop and implement online merchandising strategies to drive sales, enhance customer engagement, and maximize revenue.
Market Analysis : Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to make data-driven decisions for product placements and promotions.
Inventory Management : Coordinate with inventory teams to manage stock levels and ensure the availability of high-demand products.
Promotions and Campaigns : Plan and execute online promotions, sales campaigns, and product launches to boost online visibility and sales.
Performance Monitoring : Track and analyze key performance metrics, including conversion rates, average order value, and customer feedback, to optimize merchandising efforts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with marketing, sales, and design teams to ensure cohesive and effective online merchandising strategies.
Customer Experience : Enhance the online shopping experience through effective product presentation, personalized recommendations, and seamless navigation.
Requirements :
Experience : Minimum of 4 years in online merchandising or eCommerce roles, with a strong understanding of digital marketing and sales strategies.
Education : Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Skills :
- Proficiency in eCommerce platforms and merchandising tools.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with SEO, content management systems (CMS), and online retail best practices.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics and other performance tracking tools.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop) is a plus.
