Ecommerce Website Manager
We are seeking a self-motivated individual with significant online market place experience to manage our online sales department. The E-Commerce Sales and Marketing Manager we seek to hire will be responsible for managing online partners and an in-house website. The Online Sales Manages the online sales conducted through website.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build a website from scratch, be involved with companies- website, particularly advertising and content elements.
- Develop website to get the right interface and structure which will suit the customer journey best.
- General duties will include website design, market research, budgeting, supervising the ecommerce activities, and presenting project designs to upper management.
- Develop and implement ecommerce strategy in order to improve website performance.
- Responsible for determining the format and features of the website in order to maximize clarity and ease of navigation for customers.
- Knowledge about Online retailing and competitor products and services.
- Managing Internet sales leads, responding to inquiries in a timely fashion and answering questions on available stock and product performance.
- Knowledge about social networking and prospecting to generate Sales leads and opportunities, having knowledge about customer behavior and their requirement and market trends.
- Prepare budget and revenue forecasts and meet online sales targets.
- Check regular inventory, pricing, offers, shipment, delivery status of all orders.
- Checks e-mail frequently and respond to inquiries immediately. Delivers messages intended for other departments promptly. Notifies customers that their messages have been forwarded to the appropriate personnel for prompt attention.
- Understands the psychology of Internet customers and work with them according to their preferred method of communication, whether by phone, by e-mail.
- Directs customers to product information resources, including those available on the Internet and assist them in selecting best product available online.
- Update the Web site frequently to attract new and repeat visitors.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree required, a concentration in business, sales and marketing preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years online sales experience in a similar role, with direct responsibility for managing marketplace presence for consumer product companies
- Demonstrated experience and success growing company's sales on E-Commerce platforms.
SKILLS
- Excellent technical capabilities to include MS Office (Word and Excel).
- Computer skills to include: Photoshop, SEO principles, UX, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver and Google Analytics.
- Strong business acumen and analytic skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Resourceful, able to prioritize and problem solve.
- Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
