E-Commerce Manager - Job Description
We are seeking a self-motivated individual with significant online market place experience to manage our online sales department. The E-Commerce Sales and Marketing Manager we seek to hire will be responsible for managing online partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive E-Commerce marketing strategy, tactical planning, promotional calendar, creative project timelines and content creation and deployment across key channels including creation of our own online platform.
- Only Candidates with prior experience and success managing large product portfolios on Amazon and related E-Commerce sites will be considered
- Make changes in keywords/ meta tags with the view of increasing reach and hence, sales.
- Find newer portal where we can list our products and increase sales.
- Network reach out to experts or KAMs in marketplace companies and find out ways to increase sales.
- Understand platform algorithms and optimize listings for search engine rankings.
- Ownership of ratings and reviews and ensuring feedback on product is elevated and answered.
- Work with team to optimize processes with each platform to manage order flow.
- Create and execute promotional plans using each platforms promotional option to drive sales.
- Develop sales forecasting and coordinate orders with logistics department to meet each order's fulfillment requirements, eliminate compliance issues and maximize sales.
- Monitor for competitive pricing to ensure that our products offer a compelling value and that our pricing strategies are consistent across all sales platforms. Develop detailed analysis of pricing strategies for each platform to insure program profitability.
- Track and create reporting on sales trend on all e-commerce platforms.
- Work with purchasing and operations team to maximize profitability and revenue while monitoring quality control and optimal customer service.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree required, a concentration in business, sales and marketing preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years online sales experience in a similar role, with direct responsibility for managing marketplace presence for consumer product companies
- Demonstrated experience and success growing company's sales on E-Commerce platforms.
Skills :
- Excellent technical capabilities to include MS Office (Word and Excel).
- Computer skills to include: Photoshop, SEO principles.
- Strong business acumen and analytic skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Resourceful, able to prioritize and problem solve.
- Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
