- Be able to prepare high quality documents:
Final drafts of: all media information documents, opinion articles, client briefing documents, executive speeches, executive presentations, social media plans and proposals
Client Management - Win them over
- Manage 2-3 client's social media handles providing strategy and execution
- Be able to lead, create and deliver contact calendars across handles
- Coordinate with designers to come up with creative campaigns
- Have an amazing eye for detail, correct grammar and sentence construction
- Be able to supervise and oversee quality control on the account
- Provide crisis communication advice and support
- Earn client trust as a partner who can be relied upon to deliver results
- Manage client expectations, and proactively anticipate and resolve day to day issues and client conflicts in an effective manner
- Contribute to the overall achievement of the company business plan by ensuring high client satisfaction, and identifying new opportunities for growth
- Work with the finance team to ensure that all client billing happens in a timely manner
- Ensure client approvals for all expenses are in place, to ensure zero bad debts
- Reconcile all the expenses incurred and submit the invoice to the client on time. Also ensure that the collections are done within the credit period

- Ensure appropriate role allocation based on resource availability, skills and campaign needs
- Help direct reports manage their workload through advance planning and prioritization
- Put in place systems that enable overall workload management without micro-management
- Encourage teamwork through effective delegation across all levels
- Put in place and ensure the execution of a training plan for the entire team to support their skills development
- Undertake on the job training for team members to help develop relevant skills
- Build trust within the team by encouraging an atmosphere of openness and transparency
- Provide team members with constructive feedback on a regular basis to improve effectiveness
- Provide team members with opportunities to air their views and provide feedback to senior members including self
- Regularly and openly recognize good work and behavior by team members
- Set high professional standards for the team to follow
- Understand the role that he/ she plays within the team, and ensure team interests are always top priority
- Demonstrates professionalism to support building of the firm's reputation in the local market
- Anticipate potential issues related to own work and commitments in a timely manner
- Work with finance to understand own team's utilization and efficiency levels and ensure these are at healthy levels
- Work with HR to manage own PDP, ensuring that feedback meetings and reviews happen on time, and that PDP commitments are fulfilled
- Participate in training and development initiatives as required to acquire the required skills
- Ensure your team's time-sheets to ensure programs are run on time and on budget
