The Business - OLA Money :
- Ola Money was recently expanded to a semi-closed wallet, which can be used across third party merchants.
- Our decision to expand stemmed from the fact that we are already a significant player in the space with 20M accounts, average balances ~ Rs. 1000 and high-repeat usage by customers, and we want to create more use cases for our customers
- Going forward, we want to leverage our strengths across key verticals like transportation, food, groceries, etc. to become the default payments player, especially in the offline space which is our bread & butter
- We have an aggressive product roadmap to innovate and give customers a seamless experience across channels, and expand where Ola Money can be used, and would love to have folks on board to drive that!
Purpose of the Role :
Seeking a Head - Alliance Partnership Professional to maintain & build the Alliance Strategy, Alliance Partnership/Merchant acquisition, alliance account plans and driving all revenue for Ola Money business & develop and implement sales strategies in order to maximize growth from existing partners and produce new business.
Key Role & Responsibilities :
- Drive adoption of Payment Instruments (Ola Money) across small and large players along with maximizing transactions and revenue.
- Understand the business needs & partnership opportunities across Ola Money as also in other verticals.
- Leverage Ola Money Relationship with banks, processors, FIs, large merchants etc. to provide BUSINESS SUPPORT & help finalize strategic partners for multiple opportunities across Ola.
- Engage with payment ecosystem provider on a regular basis to understand new solutions / partnership opportunities across Ola strategic priorities.
- Structure agreements & negotiate commercials (if required) with the above identified partners.
- Drive the action plans out of these alliances internally in the organization.
- Responsible for creating a robust Partner Network - Alternate Acquisition Channels
- This position is based out of Bangalore, India and will require travel to locations within India.
Key Skills & Experience :
- Should have 8 - 15 years- experience across Business Development, Alliance partnership, Merchant Acquisition, Channel Sales or Alliance sales.
- Should be from Payment related domain/industry.
- Strong team-leader with previous experience with proven results in managing and developing a Business Development/Alliance team, including recruiting and replacing staff.
- Strong communications skills, ability to negotiate at all levels
Qualification :
Masters from Top Institutes/Top-B Schools.
