Business Development Officer


- We are searching for an experienced and self-driven Business Development Officer to join our marketing team! As a BDO, you will mainly be responsible for developing and implementing new marketing strategies and lead our marketing team by example. To excel in this role you should be an active listener, have a compelling sales personality, and a hunger to chase and close new business from cold calls and inbound warm leads.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Identify and qualify new customers as per company's policies and business model.

- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.

- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.

- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.

- Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients- objectives.

- Handle sales and coordinate transition and delivery of services.

- Build coordination with internal teams to develop new sales and marketing strategies.

- Consult with senior management to discuss innovation or development in existing services to meet the market demand.

- Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.

- Conduct meetings with internal teams and customers to discuss project development and delivery stages.

- Assist leadership in contract development, handle negotiations and perform due diligence.

- Ensure internal teams deliver projects with high customer satisfaction.

- Work with teams to achieve the quarterly or yearly targeted revenue.

- Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.

- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.

- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.

Skills Required :

- Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role.

- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field.

- Proficiency in MS Office, Word, Excel and Outlook.

- The attitude of leaving no stone unturned to get things done within stipulated deadline.

- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.

- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.

- A drive to seek new business.

- Market knowledge.
