Responsibilities :
1. Develop, lead and execute purchasing and sales strategies
2. Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
3. Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms
4. Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation
5. Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power
6. Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
7. Assess, manage and mitigate risks
8. Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers and clients
9. Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
10. Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
Requirements and skills :
1. Proven working experience as Purchasing Manager, Agent or Officer or Sales Manager or Trader
2. Familiarity with sourcing, client and vendor management
3. Interest in market dynamics along with business sense
4. A knack for negotiation and networking
5. Working experience of vendor management software
6. Ability to gather and analyse data and to work with figures
7. Solid judgement along with decision making skills
8. Strong leadership capabilities
9. BS degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration
