Position Summary :
As a Business Development Manager (BDM) at NxtWave, you will be responsible for engaging with parents and students, conducting demo sessions, and driving enrollment in the NIAT (NxtWave Industry-Aligned Training) program. The role focuses on managing the sales funnel to maximize conversions and ensure a seamless enrollment process. The ideal candidate is a motivated communicator with excellent sales funnel management skills, language proficiency, and a passion for helping students succeed in tech careers.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Demo Sessions & Presentations :
- Conduct demo sessions for parents and students, showcasing the benefits of NxtWave's NIAT product and how it prepares students for high-paying tech roles.
- Present the value proposition clearly, emphasizing the program's potential to boost future career prospects in the tech industry.
2. Consultative Sales Approach :
- Engage with parents and students to understand their aspirations and needs, guiding them toward making informed decisions about enrolling in NIAT.
- Provide personalized counseling to students and parents on the long-term career advantages of joining the program.
3. Sales Funnel Management :
- Manage the sales funnel effectively, from lead nurturing to enrollment closure.
- Monitor and optimize the different stages of the funnel to ensure maximum conversion rates.
- Use data to analyze funnel performance, identify bottlenecks, and improve the overall efficiency of the sales process.
4. Enrollment Conversion :
- Achieve monthly and quarterly enrollment targets by converting demo session attendees into program participants.
- Follow up with interested leads to ensure smooth enrollment and address any concerns or queries.
5. Stakeholder Management :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective students and their families, ensuring a positive experience from the demo session to enrollment.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and support throughout the enrollment process.
6. Feedback & Improvement :
- Gather feedback from parents and students post-demo sessions to continually improve the effectiveness of presentations and engagement strategies.
Requirements :
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or a related role, preferably in the education or ed-tech sector.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Strong consultative selling skills and the ability to guide stakeholders toward making decisions.
- Fluency in English, along with proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Kannada, Marathi, or Tamil.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving high conversion rates.
- Knowledge of the tech industry and education trends is a plus.
