Position: Senior Manager - Business Development
Experience : 10-12 years of Business Development experience in the Education or Learning and Development based Organisations.
Educational Qualification: MBA / any PG.
About the Requirement:
N.R.Group, that owns the flagship Cycle and Vasu brand agarbathies, is embarking on a new initiative in the eLearning space focused on Culture and Spiritual based education using an Online platform called Jnana.com. We are looking for a smart and dynamic Business Development Manager to head the Corporate Workshop service offering within Jnana.com.
The Corporate Workshop offerings include Motivational sessions, Spiritual workshops, Yoga and Meditation based courses, Outdoor training programs around the theme of culture, heritage and spirituality.
Job Description:
- Is responsible for revenue generation, client additions and retention, who will carry a Sales target for Corporate Workshops
- Is responsible for onboarding Trainers for Corporate workshops
- Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
- Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities. Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
- Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
- Provide a demo whenever required
- Research and build relationships with new clients.
- Set up meetings between client decision makers.
- Plan approaches and pitches. Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client's needs, concerns, and objectives.
- Participate in pricing the solution/service.
- Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
- Present an image that mirrors that of the client.
- Should be willing to travel across the city and outside the city whenever required
Other Skills and Qualifications
- Should have a good network of HR and L&D leaders in large Corporates
- Should be self motivated and passionate to work in the Culture and Spiritual space
- Should be good at selling L&D based offerings - Corporate workshops etc
- Networking, Persuasion, Prospecting, Public Speaking, Research, Writing, Closing Skills, Motivation for Sales, Prospecting Skills, Sales Planning, Identification of Customer Needs and Challenges, Territory Management, Market Knowledge, Meeting Sales Goals, Professionalism, CRM and MS Office tools
